  2. http://pastebin.com/imfCRb8m
  3. Why? what does this tell you? (also, I know how to open command prompt )
  4. Properties file #Minecraft server properties #Thu May 31 18:59:05 PDT 2012 online-mode=true spawn-npcs=true pvp=true allow-flight=false spawn-animals=true server-ip= server-port=25565 motd=A Minecraft Server
  5. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v 3.0.3 Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit Version of Java: v7 64 bit Description of problem: When I launch Tekkit it loads only chickecore, NEI and Minecraft forge. The game still runs fine but with only these three mods active. Error messages: [sEVERE] Mod Initialized: "mod_MinecraftForge 3.1.3.107" from mod_MinecraftForge.class [sEVERE] Mod Initialized: "mod_CodeChickenCore 0.5.2" from mod_CodeChickenCore.class [sEVERE] Mod Initialized: "mod_NotEnoughItems 1.2.2" from mod_NotEnoughItems.class These are not really error messages but the point is they are the only ones that appear.
  6. Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v 3.0.3 Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit Version of Java: v7 64 bit Description of Problem: Whenever I attempt to launch my Tekkit server it tells me it was unable to bind to the port given. This persists no matter what port I use. Error Messages: [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND PORT! [WARNING] The exception was: java.net.socketException: Permission denied: listen failed [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port? Link to pastebin of log: I'm not sure what this means sorry. I know that I am not running another server and this problem persists no matter what port I assign the server too, leading me to believe that there is some other reason this is failing.
  7. I installed permissionsEX and tried to set some commandbook permissions, exactly how all the tutorials said, and every time I tried to use any command inside the game it told me there was an internal error.
  8. Hi I recently set up a tekkit server and the first thing I noticed was that anyone who wasn't an op had no access to any of the commandbook commands, like /sethome and /spawn. I looked into the config for commandbook and the config file in tekkit is completely different from the way the commandbook wiki said the config file should look. Nowhere can I find a setting to give anyone permission to do anything, other than the one that lets ops use all commands. I am aware that I may just be displaying igorance but if you know what I am doing wrong please tell me.
