Just to make sure, I am suppose to place this in the plugins folder right? Not mods or anything..? Just a few people suggested using the mods folder but tutorials say plugins.

I have already tried this and it doesn't work. I launch the server with this file in my plugins and when I try any of the DynMap commands I get "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command." Is there any version of DynMap compatible with tekkit 1.5.1 someone could link me to? I know of a few tekkit servers that use DynMap and they are also 1.5.1. I would really like this feature available for my users, please provide a link. The 1.5.1 jar file on the bukkit - DynMap page didn't work for me. I am using mcpc+ (1.5.1compat) I am running Tekkit 1.5.1

Do you realize I owe my life to you now? That just helped so much )))) I have posted so many threads with problems, and this one right here just solved almost all of them. :)

So when I ran my old server back in Tekkit classic 1.2.5 I used to have a few great plugins to protect my players from griefers, such as TekkitRestrict and TekkitCustomizer, but now in 1.5.1 it seems that anyone can grief and bypass protection plugins whenever they'd like to. I just had my world griefed today and I'm very shocked that there isn't one thing I can do to fight against it. If there are any plugins out there for 1.5.1 please tell, or if you are a developer, this is a huge opportunity for you.

Please Remove

I have had multiple users receive white screens and It may have to do with interaction with too many machines at once in tekkit. I have been able to temporarily solve the issue by removing that persons data but they then get the white screen later. Is it a problem with there ram or is it something with my server? Sorry if I'm not specific enough, any help appreciated.

Obviously I was expecting the server to update.

I wasn't expecting it to update itself. I downloaded tekkit server 3.1.2 and dragged the files into my server. What more do I do?

So I have cleared my original tekkit server files completely, dragged the new ones into my ftp. Rebooted the server, no update. I have reinstalled openmod and verified the new tekkit.jar file. I am using verygames as my server host.

Let me start off by saying this.. I thought this whole server thing would be a quick and easy job. Long story short, I found out it wasn't. I am experiencing numerous problems with my server such as this; quarries not working, someone griefed my spawn with a red matter katar by right clicking with it fully charged in hand (even when protected by worldguard), and I can't fix the duplication glitches even with tekkitrestrict installed. Other issues not regarding tekkit are; I can't add custom tekkit items to Hyperconomy, and I can't keep users from using commands in shops to sell whats in there hand. Here is a list of my plugins; WorldGuard/Edit, vault, tekkitrestrict, serversigns, protetionstones, ontime, mobdisguise, mcjobs, lwc, logblock, hyperconomy, factions, essentials/groupmanager, enjinminecraftplugin, coreprotect, coloredsigns, buycraft, automessage. Basically if I fix all of these problems my server will be exactly how I want it, and anyone that can help me with these problems will be greatly appreciated. So if I am using essentials and group manager, how exactly can I transfer all my settings, users and groups?

#1 - I have op'd [buildcraft] I have added it to the builder rank, but still my users say the frame of the quarry won't generate. #2 - I want to blacklist items such as the RM Furnace, Evertide/Volcanite Amulet, and Transmutation Tablet. I have blacklisted them in my config.yml for Essentials but they are still made. I am thinking that they won't be blacklisted because they contain colons, or are metadata.
