  1. ??? Who makes spaghetti with cheese and macaroni? And ketchup is so far removed from marinara that claiming they're interchangeable is borderline racial profiling.

Sketti in my house is just enough of a nice thick sauce (prego is good) to coat browned hamburger (or antelope), on top of a dinnerplate of spaghetti noodles the size of your head. None of that runny crap that tastes like bare stewed tomatoes with a bit of salt, spaghetti sauce needs to cement itself to the noodles and bring it's meaty friend with it.

Try googeling sketti. I just assumed sketti was a made-up name from that family. Are you talking about spaghetti bolognese?

  2. That would actually be quite cool! And I think they would atleast vaguely recognize the name if I told them later!

Hard to dress up as something half your size, but I'd figure something out.

Once upon a time, there was a red engineer named Kocken. He went to a party dressed up as himself, which is valid because he's in this story. And the recursion broke the universe and it was so awesome that everybody died. THE END.

Yeah, we've been argumenting for the whole "story of life" thing. Sadly without success :/

  3. Sounds nice, enjoy yourself! But what is this mac and cheese I keep hearing about?

Oh and yeah, It's finnish. I'm free from school the rest of the week to celebrate my countrys independence.

Please no-one make a joke about independence and wombs.

  4. Hardly practical, and not from any tale. As I said (wrote?), gaming costumes will probably not work, the perfect costume would be something everyone would recognize, but would be atleast a little bit clever/original.

The main reason this is hard is because most people in my school are uncivilized barbarians (non-gamers) :/

  5. So I've recently been informed that my schools party-thing is going to require everyone to dress up, and the theme is Story/Fairy tale. I would like to be atleast a little bit original, since everyone has gotten the bright idea to dress up as Gandalf or Jesus, but still maintain a reasonable budget.

My biggest problem is the fact that if I come as anything remotely original, hardly anyone will get it, since the majority of my class seems to be culturally inept 9gag-and Facebook-is-the-whole-internet-ers. Gaming-costumes are probably too far-fetched too...

So does anyone have an idea what to dress up as, walking the fine line between unoriginal and urecogniseable?
