You oxygne theifs can say what you like The true fact of the matter is that Tekkit has not been updated for a very long time and STILL runs with MC 1.2.5 some 50 MC updates ago. It is pointless playing a half baked tekkit lite which is a fraction of classic simply because they couldnt be fucked updating. But then again your cockwads most likely play monopoly with ur mummy and daddy on Fridays and Saturday nights. So Ok Brainic (miniboxer) your so quick to abuse me for making a simple statement when is there a new updated release??? or are you still going to be playing the out dated mod when MC is at 5.0 you moroinc fucktard, but your so up with the times you couldnt fucking tell me, hell you wouldn't even know realised if ur mummy was butt fucking you with ur daddys dick.

I would say that Tekkit is dead and burried, it is still running off Minecraft 1.2.5 and we are now up to minecraft 1.5.1. Any server that is still running tekkit feels like it is running from the stone age, all of my members (not one of 122 disagreed) to uninstall tekkit and turn our server in to a bukkit server. Ok GUYS I have a fix. This worked for me, please make me feel warm and fuzzy by posting back here if it works for you The Fix I remembered that I had hte same problem when 1.3 came out, here's the solution: 1) Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc 2) Copy the file "hosts" to where ever you like, it's just temporary 3) Open the file with notepad and remove any line with Minecraft in it 4) Save and close the file and put it back in the etc folder and overwrite the old one 5) Have fun playing Minecraft again

Ok cheers, however the normal minecraft issue was only a test, I play tekkit, I am merley pointing out that it also happens in both tekkit and minecraft As far as threadjacking reports, I cant see the point in writing bug reports on the same thing, my problem is enhancing the problem already reported, threadjacking, seriously, what dictionary is that word in, lol?!

I have exactly the same problem, I have it with Tekkit and also with vanilla minecraft, I have uninstalled everything including Java, launcher and anything to do with minecraft. I have all fresh installs, but yes the Tekkit update problem is occurring so I have to fix that first. I have also restarted my router and also checked the firewall and antivirus and still I just sit at the logging in screen nothing seems to work, I simply cannot play minecraft or tekkit. It was working perfect last night for me in Sydney Australia, now absolutely nothing!!!!

I am getting the same, I have reinstalled everything again. I uninstalled java, Tekkit and everything else. When I reinstall Tekkit I get the "Update Fail: message, I go to the fix and install it, then I get stuck on the "logging in..." screen, after a few minutes I either get the error above or the "End of Stream" error. It was working perfect for me yesterday and now nothing, no matter what I do, I can't connect to a server. Single player is no problem and yep I also restarted my router and checked my firewall
