Here's how I fixed it: 1- Whitelist the server or activate some kind of maintenance mode. 2- Change the alchemist bag id in Redpower's config to a different one, for example the alchemical coal one. 3- Change the alchemical coal (for example) id to the alchemist bag id. 4- Restart the server and load the chunks around the spawn so the alchemist bag (now alchemical coal) gets deployed. 5- Change the ids back to normal and restart the server. 6- If everything works you can turn off the whitelist again, if not, try again loading more chunks.

Use /plugins from the Console, It'll show you which mods are installed and their versions. Also check if you are using the same client and server version; you won't be able to join a 3.1.2 tekkit server with a 3.1.3 client.

Don't worry about it. You receive that error at console when someone with a wrong minecraft version (higher than 1.2.5) has your server added to his server list. In example, minecraft 1.4.2 polling tekkit classic (1.2.5).

jjssman's ban appeal: Ban Reason: "english only" Comments: Well, I like this server so much, but I got really pissed off when i got kicked by some Mod because I was chatting in Spanish (I use to chat in english but my bro joined so I start chatting to him Spanish). After debating with the Mod, he said Spanish is not allowed because hackers can chat in that language without Staff noticing (I was like wtf, that's not an argument, hackers could just use /msg or /pm). I didn't want to argue anymore so I stopped. Later my bro asked me something in Spanish so I answered in my language without even notice, but some ban hungry Mod (I don't remember his name) who probably was ready to do it whenever someone just say "Hola! :3" instead of "Hello" banned me and put as a reason "english only". As I said I love this server so I would like to get unbanned, but I think that kind of bans lower its reputation, and people will think that's a racist and prohibitive server instead of a friendly one.

IGN: jjssman I have just joined and I liked it, because of the no lag and the small friendly community. I haven't got any experience with Tekkit, but I think this is a good server to start.
