Steam is a pretty easy way to talk while gaming etc, its useful for lans across the house while running minecraft or even talking to someone OS for free.. Oh and yeah, strongly advise gods and kings, does change game play quite a bit, personally I think it good ways, not that Civ has ever been bad..

The seed "Puppy Wuppy" is quite an awesome seed there are a great many villages, two quite close together and a pair of rather large volcanos right next door around x-1755 z-315

Having it all centralized would be awesome but the upkeep for checking versions could be staggering and as far as the Technic people doing it... Just a red and green list of "this is what's working, this is what's still not done"... Would be awesome but perhaps an amount of effort not fair for us to ask. Haven't seen a video of them doing a cover of Gangnam Style yet so clearly they're working furiously to get this out. :D
