On November 15th 3.1.3 was proclaimed as being almost finalized and there has been no news since. Why is the default server file download 3.1.3 with such an unstable version? I've had to patch several items and still have crashing issues on our server with no official word from anyone as to what is going on here. Is it time to start looking for another mod pack? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Worked perfectly - still have no idea why it works locally still (with the Buildcraft API still in-tact in the Railcraft-5.4.7-MCPC-1.2.5-r7.zip) but thanks again, theprolo!

I'll try that later tonight! Any ideas though why it would work on one server and not the other with the same exact Tekkit server directories? That was the confusing part here.

I tried using the same exact server files I used on the other server (after updating the server.properties file) and also using a fresh unzip of the Tekkit 3.1.3 Server zip file. I used 3.1.3 Server since it was the build linked to Tekkit Server so I assumed it was what I should use. I understand it's a development build but maybe this can help someone else that comes across this as well. Error Messages: When I connect to the server I receive an "end of stream" error then I'm unable to join the server from that point on. Hello, I've seen similar posts to this but was hoping someone could help me make sense of what's going on. I wanted to move our Tekkit world (created in 3.1.3) to a new server however I'm unable to join the world. On the new server I'm able to join a new world without an issue, but just cannot join the world I want to use on the new server. I've uploaded the world files (world, world_nether, world_the_end) several times and have the same result. I've since wiped out everything on the new server directory and uploaded the exact contents from the current server, modifying the server.properties file afterwards to account for the new IP/port - same problem. I basically get an end of stream error at first then afterwards the server is marked as unavailable on my server list. I am still running the same world locally just fine. Thanks for replies. GreenWolf13 - I understand the version notations, I meant that IC2 has a newer version for 1.2.5 (1.1.03) that fixes a couple of annoying issues. I hoped that with a launcher that downloads files on the flies updates to these versions would be more readily accessible as well.

I am using the Tekkit modpack for the first time and was impressed with the launcher as we have people playing on our server that are not comfortable with installing Minecraft mods. I noticed that IndustrialCraft 2 is out of date in the latest release (1.3.2), which is the main reason I want to use Tekkit for our small server. I know I can update it manually but was wondering how long it usually takes for updated mods to be reflected in the Tekkit pack or if anyone needs to be made aware of this.
