I already did that thats why you see a bigger area that the quarry is going to do then the default and does it have to be gold or can it be stone? Update: Tried with gold conductive pipes didnt work

So im having some problems with a quarry heres a pic It has an energy link which is connected to a bat box and then to the quarry as you can see there is power going through it but it wont set up iv tried with steam engines also i put the lever there to see if maybe that would turn it on but nothing. Thanks for any help you can provide!
