Well one of the stickies hasn't got the solution.. if i look at the other it means ur telling m that this thread will be deleted. Maybe i wasnt very clear, basically the mod said that if it gets past the mojang screen then they can't babysit me anyore, but i havent even reached that screen yet... like ive said about 5 times.. im a nublet you don't have to make me look any worse lol.

Launcher Version: Latest (just installed it) Operating System: Windows Vista Java Version: 32 bit Antivirus Program: AVG Description of Problem: Ok, so i've set up my tekkit server correctly and basically when i run the technic launcher, put in my username and password, select tekkit from the drop down tab. It says connecting to www.minecraft.net ... and then starts downloading minecraft.jar for example it goes up from 1% minecraft.jar to 25% minecraft jar (because you go from 1-100%, obviously). The problem is that when it gets to a certain stage (sometimes, 2% other times 20%, its random), it stops for a few seconds and then it just says :20% Download Failed. Not sure what i've done wrong =S... the highest percent its gone up to so far was 91% and then i got the same messgae.. download failed. Error Messages: Download Failed Error Log:

Like i said... it wont let me as i don't have the privileges for what ever reason, if you're referring that its on the Technic launcher i cant find it :(

Hi everyone, i was wondering if you could help me out, i tried to create my own thread but for whatever reason, i "don't have privileges" to create a thread. All i wanted to ask was, ive finished installing my tekkit server, when i try and open the technic launcher, put in my username and password and then click login it starts to work, and then at 15% (sometimes25% or 4%, as ive tried multiple times) it says download failed. annd just stops? any idea what it could be?

Title: Creating Railcraft File Freeze/crash Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows Vista Java Version: 32 bit Description of Problem: Basically i go to the website, download tekkit, i create a folder for it, put the zip file there, right click the file and select extract here. Then i have to right click the launch.bat and change the xms stuff from 3g and 2g to 1g and 1g. I then run it, it works fine, says everythings good and eventually says "done!(time taken) for help type ? But then it says "Railcraft loaded 0 saved anchors". "Creating Railcraft save file" and doesnt do anything after that, if i leave it eventually it says (my server ip) lost connection and if i try t join it when it says the "Creating Railcraft save fail" or after it says that the connectons lost i get a message on minecraft saying. "Connection Lost, End of Stream". Help pls? =S Error Messages: Connection lost, end of stream. Error Log:
