Can anyone please help me setup a server I had one setup before but no mobs would spawn even when I changed the settings in server.properties and I tried setting up an new one for a few hours but had no luck, please help me!

I tried putting it on survival mode with the difficulty on normal but they still despawn, also I noticed when I open up the start command on my server it is blank and doesnt show anything but the server still works

I've tried rebooting I've just been messing around with game mode and difficulty under server.properties and I can see the game is trying to spawn the mobs because at night u can see them spawn but instantly dissapear

I would tell you but I don't no what a plugin is

Yes I know I have that set to true

I know it's in server properties and I've tried changing it around but I still haven't gotten and mobs to spawn besides animals
