how do you turn off default firewalls on a computer?

I can open my av. It is 'webroot antivirus with spy sweeper' but it won't open.

Is that the drop down menu that says "save as type"? Cuz all i have for that is "winzip file" and "all files". Those are my options.

How do you change the file extension?
