The exact problem is that it recongnizes .dll instead of the actual file to run it. The fix I found was in this video: . Could an admin lock this please?

Operating System : Windows 8 Consumer Preview 64-bit Anti-Virus: ESET Smart Security 5.0.95.0 Java Version: Java 7 64-bit Description of the problem: I started up the launcher as usual. I decided to click on one of the modpacks (Technic). When it starts, the error 'LoadLibrary failed with error 126: The specified module could not be found' pops up. I've tried re-installing Java, resetting Windows (new feature in Windows 8, restores it back to a fresh state), but it dosen't work. This issue is with all of the modpacks. If you know how to modify block ids, yes, but there are limited spaces for mods in Technic, there are so many. However, you seem to want the Portal Mod, which is possible but needs a bit of modification, so here's a video:
