My friend told me with Tekkit you can somehow place maps on walls but I have no idea how to do such a thing. Anybody else done this and care to explain? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, first off I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. Alright, so, I have a paid-hosted server (with Servercraft if that helps at all) and I have NO clue how to make Tekkit work on it. I have tried putting the tekkit jar into the server plugins, into the world, I've tried extracting the whole tekkit server zip into the plugins folder and all the likes. I have no clue what I'm doing by this point, really. It is currently a bukkit server, but can be changed back to normal/vanilla Minecraft in the settings. I want to be able to upgrade this server and not just "Host a new one", and I want to keep this map. If anyone could link to exactly what I need to put into the folders I'd appreciate that too. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.
