Alright, So you get a red matter pickaxe, Than some red stone. You put the red stone on top of the obsidian and press c intill it says "Tool 3x long-shot mode active. Than jump up, or be a block above it and and hit the red stone, it should break the obsidian automatically, along with the red stone :D
