Don't worry guys if your having the same problem i found a fix. Download the latest technic launcher. MAKE SURE IT IS THE .JAR FILE. Dowload Linux/Jar. then copy this and paste it into terminal and hit return worked for me:cd Downloads export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home java -jar technic-launcher-latest.jar

Ok on the apple website or on the Java one?

Title: My tekkit crashes within half a second of opening Version: 3.1.2 OS: Mac OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Java Version: Java SE 7 Description of Problem: When i start my tekkit it immediately crashes and it quits my tekkit and my techniclauncher. I've reinstalled my whole techniclauncher and it still happens. Im wondering if it's something to do with the new Java system for mac. I've noticed that there isn't any Java Preferences any more.
