[video] My Golem Making Machine
grumpygamerlp replied to grumpygamerlp's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Yes you could. There is no need to build anything complicated in Tekkit at all. Sometimes you build stuff in Tekkit just for the sake of building stuff. This machine is no more a waste of time than the computers people build in vanilla Minecraft. Someone else will come along and tell me that they could do it with computer craft easier. Someone else will ask me why I am wasting time making golems to begin with. Someone else will tell me frame motors are a joke. Someone else will tell me they could make it more compact. It's easy to be negative. -
I made a machine that makes iron golems. IT uses frames and an assembler and alot of redpower2 logic. Check it out:

Combustion engine nears exploding even with water
grumpygamerlp replied to Ryan Child's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Combustion engines are glitchy. Server lag can make them blow up, not getting enough water, world anchors not loading chunks properly, etc... Any of these things can cause them to blow up. This is why I made this video that shows how to run engines without water safely: By cycling two sets of engines, they never get hot enough to explode. The only other sure alternative to prevent an explosion is to babysit the engines, which defeats the purpose of automation to begin with. p.s. I just added the link. I forgot to put it in. :)
