  1. It's definitely looking like it's having errors writing to the registry, as Torezu said, but I'm not sure what to do about it. And yes, I'm on the administrator account. I'm the only one who uses this computer.
  2. Exactly. My mouse cursor makes the loading circle and then nothing happens.
  3. Launcher Version: 3.1.2 Operating System: Windows 7 Java Version: 7 Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: I double click TechnicLauncher.exe on my desktop. It opens a window titled "Error starting launcher." It then says Cannot load: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\logs. I click ok on this window, then it says: Requested registry access is not allowed. at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String name, Boolean Writable) at TechnicLauncher.Program.GetJavaFileAssociationPath() at TechnicLauncher.Program.LogBasicSystemInfo(TextWriter log) at TechnicLauncher.Prrogram.Main() At the directory C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming it creates the .techniclauncher folder, but places nothing inside of it. Not even the .jar file that it's supposed to, from what I've seen. I've tried reinstalling the launcher several times, but that fixes nothing. I've also attempted running it with administrative privileges and reinstalled java 7 twice. Error Messages: Cannot load: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\logs Requested registry access is not allowed. at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String name, Boolean Writable) at TechnicLauncher.Program.GetJavaFileAssociationPath() at TechnicLauncher.Program.LogBasicSystemInfo(TextWriter log) at TechnicLauncher.Prrogram.Main() Error Log: logs folder is not created, this seems to be a large part of the problem.
