techdude you have to name it minecraft_1.2.5 so try no toutting the .jar on the end as it automatically turns it into a .jar

i found my problem and there is sometimes a folder that appears in cache that isnt a mod delete this if you where having my problems and it will work

no it didn't i have tried everything so far 1 thing worked but it was an old version of tekkit and only loaded 31 mods instead of 41

i did without even tiring to do minecraft_1.2.5.jar

i have followed all the instructions and they haven't worked so i think i have done something wrong that i clearly cant notice

i have beeen having the same problem and have tried all the solutions you have suggested can someone help me? also could this be caused by the new minecraft update?
