I was just wondering what the difference of Technic and Tekkit was. I have been using Tekkit for the time being as I played on a server with my friends. Now that I am quite done doing that and might want to do another server with my friends I wanted to know what is different between Technic and Tekkit? They seem very similar, but I want to know why I should choose one or the other to play on.

I have fixed it by just downloading the jar, but I was just wondering why this would happen. I am glad that I can play tekkit with my friends again! :)

Launcher Version: latest one Operating System: hp pavilion dv6 Java Version: Java 7 Antivirus Program: Webroot Description of Problem: I have been playing in Technic for a while and then one day it stopped working after I had to restart my settings on my computer for when it was working. I had to re install everything in my computer like Minecraft, Skype, Steam Games, and this. Everything else was fine, including Minecraft, but Technic pack won't open at all. I downloaded the pack again to see if it would work again and even deleted the .techniclauncher folder so it would make a new one. I double-clicked it and it wouldn't even start to work it says something like. Cannot load C:/Users/Jacob/Appdata/Roaming/logs then says access is denied, so what should I do to fix this problem? Please help me out. Error Messages: Cannot load C:/Users/Jacob/Appdata/Roaming/logs then says access is denied and weird code I cannot copy. and same thing but after logs says launcher_init.log is denied. Error Log: The problem is there is none.
