    after re installing it 4 times I decided to try to reload an earlier version, that didn't help so when it asked if I wanted to load the newest version I accepted and it worked. No idea why, it made a difference but it did. Thanks for your help

    how can I get the log? Like I say it opens, everything looks good but it's just loading regular minecraft.
