Update failed

Description of Problem:

Open launcher, only my avatar comes up, go to login and it says update failed

Antivirus program:

mcafee, firewall isnt blocking it

Error Messages:

Update Failed

Regardless of whether or not your firewall's blocking it, ditch McAfee and get Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials.
