Title: tekkit received string length longer than maximum

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows Vista 32x

Java Version: Java 7

Description of Problem:

Server worked fine yesterday now when I join with my client I get a "Disconnect - End of Stream" Only thing that seems to have changed is that this morning the tekkit launcher prompted that an update was an available and I hit "yes" update and went a long with that. Also tried on my other machine without updating and got the same message.
