Technic 64 bit Issue~ it thinks i have 32

 i am having trouble with the launcher thinking i am running 32 bit and not 64 bit i need 1.5 or 2 gb of ram or memory to play one of my favorite modpack and i have 4 gigs but the thing is when i go to select the option to up the memory usage for the game it shows the options for a 32 bit which is significantly less as in it has 1 gb and below so i was wondering if someone could help me on this

You path variable is probably set to 32 bit. Uninstall ALL java, restart then install 64bit java
