Title: White Screen when joining server

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows Vista

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

Hello and Me and my friend wanted to play tekkit again. this never happened before;

My friend said when she joined the server she got white screen. But I connected just fine. Any help??

Client-side launcher log? She may be running an old version, or have a Java problem, or...you get the idea.

I can't decide if you're trolling or serious. Clearly, she's the one with the problem, not you. Troubleshooting by proxy never works well. At the very least, information you need to provide (for her computer, not yours) is outlined in the bug report format, and the launcher log is especially important. Provide that, or no one can help you.

No. Well, it's possible, but only if her Java bit version doesn't match her OS bit version. Just get the client-side launcher log, and see if we can figure out what's going on. Or, you know, have her get on here and troubleshoot herself. That works too.

The tekkit folder is INSIDE .technicpack... including the vanilla yogbox and technic folders

If your friend is still able to use the Escape key to bring up the menu when she joins a server - ensure that inside Video Settings her view distance isnt set to -32.

The -32 bug is a common issue with Tekkit.

He said it whitescreens and crashes...and the tekkit folder is inside .techniclauncher, not .technicpack.

hey i host a server that runs tekkit i have been playing on it for the past week or so with tekkit then all of the sudden today i had the same issue and when i go to join my server it white screens on me just like numzyx's friend first thing i did was shut down my computer and try again, it did not work then i deleted tekkit all together and reinstalled the launcher and this did not work, im just about to try one more thing cuz when i try to log in it say's smittyatyou (IGN) has logged out and i didnt even log in my friends gunna tp me to him right when i log in and see if maybe there was an explosive glitch or something near me but im having the same problems

Does it still white screen if you were to start a new world?

Might be a chunk error thats being sent over to the client, causing the client to fall over.

hey there we ended up saving the map and starting a new one to see if that solved the problem the other day and it did so it is a chunk in the world then i put that other map back on and it would still white screen so we ended up started a new map which sucks had to give some people some starter packs as they lost everything
