Need help launching the Tekkit server.

Hello, I have been having a issue for the past few days on trying to launch my tekkit server from my computer. Every time I launch it would gives me the following error.

 

C:User"My Name"DesktopTekkit>java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

Error occurred during initialization of VM

Could not reserve enough space for 3145728KB object heap

 

C:User"My name"DesktopTekkit>pause

Press any key to continue . . .

 

Even when I press a key to continue it will do nothing but close the launcher. I have tried reducing the amount of RAM and increasing it but I have found no way of fixing it. I previously had the server working but I re-installed my Windows 7 operating system, previously I had Windows 7 32bit and upgraded to Windows 7 64bit, on the 32bit it worked perfectly and only after the re-installation did I have any issue. Please if anyone knows a way to fix this issue I would appreciate it.

You just don't have enough ram on your PC to get it started, try allocating less ram.
Sorry if the problem is already fixed and I'm wasting your time here.

Either you don't have enough RAM installed on your computer or your running a 32 Bit Java,

In which case unistall Java and reinstall with a 64 Bit if you have a 64 Bit OS
