Tekkit server help (VM Virtual Machine)

So as you probably know from thr title im getting the common virtual machine error, but the thing is i have enough ram, here is a screenshot

The only other thing i have installed is a plugin "LWC"

i have tried to lower the max memory but it still doesnt work, does anyone know what im doingwrong?

How much memory do you have on the computer that's running the server? Also, what OS is it using?

well i posted the pic below it has 3.25 gb nad its windows vista, btw i did get it working i set the max to 1g and the min to 512m but im still wondering why i cant use 2g or 3g

What VM host software are you using, and the guest OS is vista?

Check the VM settings and see what it's set to give for ram. The host may have 3.5gig, but if the VM only allows the guest access to 1 gig of that then your server is stuck with less than a gig to work with (max minus the guest OS usage).

ok i have no idea what a VM host software is, all i know is its java 7, and windows vista os, with 3.25 gigs

Where does your virtual machine run from? What physical hardware?
