scottishnerd Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Just a suggestion for future versions, It would be cool if you had the ability to make 'custom' versions with other mods instead of just the technic, vanilla, and tekkit options. So if you just wanted to try a mod out you could make a 'custom minecraft 1' type thing or something. P.S. The technic pack launcher is awesome though!
0 hindos Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 :o ... You can a. Install the mod manually to your modpack.jar or if it is a modloader mod into your mods folder under appdata/roaming/.techniclauncher/technicssp/ b. Use mod select to choose which mods you want and which ones you don't c. Don't suggests tuff you can allready do ::)
0 Niavmai Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I think he means just to have extra slots for custom ones, with custom mods, not wanting to edit one of the existing ones. Maybe for a server that uses a different set of mods, or something like that.
0 hindos Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 oh ok.... now i feel stupid :-[ you're own manual build of some sorts that you share with your server?
0 ErusPrime Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 1) %appdata%\.techniclauncher\vanilla\bin 2) modify modpack.jar 3) give to your players or teach them how to do it (not sure of the legality of trading that) 4) select vanilla from technic menu. Somewhere on the forums you'll find directions on adding a third option to the list. Not sure if it still works though.
