Can't log onto Tekkit servers

Title: Can't log onto Tekkit servers

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Mac OSX version 10.6.8

Java Version: 64 Bit

Description of Problem:

When I try to connect to a tekkit server, it tells me I need mods. I read the common problems and fixes sticky, then went back to a recommended build and tried deleting the tekkit folder. Then I tried deleting the entire techniclauncher folder. None of these solutions resolved my problem.

It appears I have discovered something interesting. It would seem that Tekkit is looking in my minecraft folder for its files (All required mods are in the mods folder). Is there a choose directory option that I overlooked earlier?

I found a thread posted shortly after this one. Redownloading the launcher fixed my problem.
