Tekkit 2.0 Server/ Cant get items

Hey i just downloaded the Tekkit 2.0 server and redownloaded the launcher. The server runs and i can log into but i changed myself to op and i cant get any of the times on the left of the screen. I also changed my gamemode to creative so i could just build them since i wanted to try out some of the new stuff, but when i try to click on an item i get kicked out of the server. Any advice would help and sorry if this is a stupid problem with a simple answer

Thank you that help with being able to get items off the left side, but still cant get items from inventory when in creative. Doesnt matter to me but just wanted to let you know
