Internal server error

Question

Posted

So I'm running Tekkit on a Ubuntu server and I'm accessing it from a Windows pc on the lan. Everything seems to run well for me when I'm in survival mode but as soon as i change into creative mode i start running into trouble. Any time i try to click on an item the client crashes and tell me internal server error. I have tried to delete and reinstall minecraft and the tekkit loader but the problem continues. Also i have tried to change the server properties text file gamemode to 1 for survival. I have also tried setting the game to survival by doing a /gamemode <name> 1. No matter what anytime i click on an item the client just crashes. Anyone know how to fix this?

It is the server. Unfixable as of now, just use the bands from Equivalent Exchange to fly instead of creative to fly.

As for your problem with survival, I repeat NO KNOWN FIX.

I got disconnected when clicking on my hot bar. Wondering if a lot of people are having this problem in creative mode?

Please listen to the guy who replied it is a known NEI bug, it is not i repeat not caused by tekkit. Please go and look on the NEI post on the minecraft forums for more info but there is NO KNOWN FIX. Good luck.
