  1. Edit, don't triple post. Anyways, how much progress has been made? I'd like to see a download.
  2. Okay, I tried to replicate the bug, but it seems to not be a recurring problem. So, When I placed the strainer under the filled pipe, I had no error.
  3. Title: Water Strainer Bug - Causes world DEATH! Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 (64-bit) Java Version: Java 7 (64-bit) Description of Problem: I was working on my Tekkit world to have a server test, so I put in 3-4 hours into making a decent spawn, then I made a water plant. I hooked up two tanks to a pump and connected it to a water strainer, then connected it to an MFE. I tested it, and it worked fine until it hit the water strainer, where I was dropped from localhost. I cannot open it in any map editors, the world is totally un-reachable, besides deleting the water strainer in Single Player Tekkit. Error Messages: at powercrystals.powerconverters.TileEntityWaterStrainer.fill(TileEntityWaterStrainer.java:44) (Message above is said 999999999999 times. The server doesn't not respond.) Error Log: Doesn't record on any logs.
  4. I just thought, if I want to give more than 1Gig of Ram to the server, wouldn't I have to have a 64-bit? I made sure the Linux is compatible with the XP, but I though 32-bit Java can't have a Gigabyte or above of RAM. Also a Craigslist search of 'computer' brought up this: http://hanford.craigslist.org/sys/3105967143.html And I must say, for $90? No way. Only a fifteen minute drive. But, can anyone find any information on HP Pavilion a1410y? I don't know how much RAM it has. Hmm, time to pull out Google's currency converter!
  5. Yeah, but no one has the mods. I mean, Tekkit demands enough as it is. 2Gigs are more than enough, let alone shaders. Why not post this in the bug section?
  6. I would, but I want to have a 24/7, as it goes off in the nights and I don't want to restart it everyday. Unless I get a few hundred to buy a server, I'm going to go with hosting.
  7. Okay, figured this from MossyCobble: Q - Can I use Buildcraft or mods that edit the jar file on shared packages? A - No. So I'd have to spend the money for 20 player slots that will not be occupied. Also, from Beastnode I'm trying to decide from Chicken or Sheep. But, it does support Bukkit but I cannot find any info on mod support? Does it have a policy like Mossy where you have to pay more to support Tekkit?
  8. What server hosters, like MossyCobble and others support Tekkit? I'm looking for a cheap max 6-player slot 24/7 server hoster. What are my options?
  9. I can never get out in space. I keep stopping right at the edge of the atmosphere. I even watched a tutorial on how to get to the moon. I followed it, and I still barely was stuck inside the atmosphere.
  10. I was going to say the incident when I was nine, but It's too much for a forum. Anyways, beside that making my avatar.
  11. Wrong. Somehow I used it on my server last night. Something else is causing it.
  12. I so far haven't seen any problems. It is too large for an attachment due to Tronic's bigger resolution. Some things do look kinda weird. http://www.mediafire.com/?89200bx8f4jaib3
  13. Hard? I guess.... Anyways, I got a texture pack made for Tekkit, then copied it to a folder. I then overwrote most files with the Tronic pack. The texture pack I used is Morton's Plain and Simple for Tekkit. Just google it. Goes good with Tronic. I think. Only problem is that the Morton's is not high-res. May cause problems. I think.
  14. Really? Been happening for about a week, no matter what I do. *YES! Better fix in start post
  15. Bad, bad, bad Command Book. You have to have a perfectly good Essentials server to leave the /give command alone. If we test our vanilla: "08:07 PM [WARNING] Failed to handle packet: java.lang.NullPointerException." I'll bet it is the Bukkit port.
  16. *The problem is the Connected textures mod. Turn it off in Video Settings > Quality. Then, re-enable to Fancy, and it is fixed. :)
  17. You sure the configs are being loaded? Seems Industrial Craft 2 is not loading the pre-set for comparability.
  18. It is the server. Unfixable as of now, just use the bands from Equivalent Exchange to fly instead of creative to fly. As for your problem with survival, I repeat NO KNOWN FIX.
  19. First, my quarry is not working like it should. It never starts the initiation process even though I've supplied way more then enough power to it, and put a alchemist chest next to it. Next; I saw a "Training Dummy" object, nearby a musket and crossbow. I tried placing it, Nothing happened. I tried stepping through, and it wouldn't let me. I couldn't place block there, but I cannot destroy it, or place blocks in a 2-3 block radius.
  20. I had a thread about this one, but it was removed.
  21. A ad that came up while I was posting. Here, I got Frosty the Snowman. "HAPPY BIRDTHDAY!" Onlive: I have no Idea PS3 : Better "Glare" effects, better 3D textures. Naughty Dog is on a rampage with PS3 exclusives. Xbox : Already established fanbase. But you know Microsoft. However, it burns out after 3-4 years. Slightly better 3D modeling support for more model detail. Better processors, a list of things slightly better than PS3. It has Xbox exclusives from Microsoft like Gears of War and Halo. But most likely no hot games out of those series will be exclusive. PSVita: I've heard reviews it could of been better, but it is okay, The internet function is practically useless, it also ha two joysticks unlike the PSP and Go. Semi-Good Microphone (only in some) and just a few downers. Too new to judge, as games are still starting to adapt. (Based of Game Informer review, and a small time of personal experience.) Scoreboard Online - ? PS3 - 7 Xbox - 8.5 Vita - 6.5 (I usually don't use handhelds often.
