Title: Can't allocate more than 1.5GB

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Java Version: 7.5

Description of Problem:

I can't allocate more than 1.5GB of ram to tekkit, therefore I continually run out of memory. I have 6GB of RAM so it's safe but yeah I don't get the option. I reinstalled java and tekkit, and I read on another post to go into my folder and find some config folder but I couldn't find it. Anyone help me?4568

You aren't running 64bit Java, even if you have it installed for some reason your system is using 32bit java. Edit your start.bat to point specifically to your 64bit java install, or confirm you have 64bit java installed

To install 64 Bit java, simply go here:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre-7u4-download-1591157.html

And download it ! You could have also went to the tekkit website and clicked on the 64 bit java download link on the sidebar.

Are you using a cracked launcher? cuz ive noticed that same problem with the cracked one... when i can set the legit launcher to 16gb, the cracked shows up only 1.5gb

This is a very simple fix, simply go back to http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ And download the .exe file instead of .jar
