michiko Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 I deleted my .minecraft and .technickwhatever folder and when I tried to get the launcher working from scratch it won't work now. Technic loads up just fine and I'm able to get into the game. But when I select Tekkit from the drop down, put in my login information and try logging ... I get a simple pop-up that says "Update Failed!" It happens, I guess, when it tries to connect to minecraft.net But a.) the site is not down and b.) It works in Technic....so? Something silly trhat I am doing?
joshua caron Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I have a problem like this but, i dont get an error log...it just says update failed...i have a 64 bit operating system and windows 7 home premium. please help...i want to play tekkit and all the other mods.i have java 6 and 64 bit java. the only diffrence is mine wont work on any mod:(
