Cannot Craft Steel?

Not sure If this is a block ID confict, issue or otherwise... however despite following the recipe and formation both on the teckkit wiki and the mods own wiki... I seem unable to make steel at all... any ideas? is steel even included?

Refined Iron should be equivalent to Steel for all recipes that use it. There's a bug with the NEI recipe listings where it doesn't include the refined iron-using recipe for making a Factory Hammer, but it does work.

Hav same problem on my server.... And no. tried the refined and it didnt work.....

Steel is disabled because refined iron takes its place and u can use it for other things also, i run my own server and everything that u craft with steel works with refined iron.
