Portable Launcher (changable install dir)

I tried searching a few places but couldn't find this addressed. If it has been.. bring down the might of Zeus on me.

Is it a planned feature or is it already possible (if not I'd like to request the feature) to pick where the launcher "installs" itself. Cus the launcher is freaking awesome I want to use it for everything.

Right now it goes to %appdata%.techniclauncher.

I want to change it so I can pick where it puts itself mainly because I have most my games in a specific place, and also so I can have it all installed on a flash drive or dropbox.

Currently no. This is something that we may do in the future yes. I'm sure there are ways you can move the directory once you install it for now.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now. It works fine enough.

I wouldn't have imagined this was a priority of course.

This should be possible if you create a bat file that is

appdata=E:/tekkit

TechnicLauncher.exe

I might have gotten some of that wrong, and you could change the E:/tekkit to be what ever you want. The new path would be at E:/tekkit/techniclauncher/
