NuclearStudent Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 When I installed Technic, it said 1.1. For 1.2.5 do I have to install tekkit? Sorry, I'm new to this.
xanderhunter Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Haven't used a Technic in awhile, but I think you need to install the development build, the stable build is 1.1.
Adlersch Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Technic isn't ready for 1.2.5 in a stable form yet. Give it time. I really, really, really don't suggest using the dev build for normal play, especially right now, because it can have major holes and bugs in it, and right now from what I hear over and over and over again, it does. Just try to enjoy 1.1 Technic, or 1.2.5 Tekkit (It works for singleplayer too if you just wanna fiddle with some of the IC2 and EE and such in the 1.2.5 worlds) until it's ready. Or use the dev build at your own risk, understanding that it can have problems and it's not finished yet.
NuclearStudent Posted August 4, 2012 Author Posted August 4, 2012 That's alright, I install myself pretty much practically always and am used to having major bugs and screwups.

Why would you necro your own post, 3 weeks later, after the Recommended version has already updated past MC 1.1? It doesn't make any sense.
