Saving Chunks crash when opening inventory or menu

Launcher Version: OSX 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

Java Version: (Not certain) Java Visual VM 14.3?

Antivirus Program: When playing Tekkit single player, i can move around and mine with no problems, but when I try to open my inventory (E) it gives me the "Saving Chunks" screen, then goes white/unresponsive.

I've seen other posts SIMILAR to this around various forums but no one seems to have an answer, and those that do - don't fix the problem for me.

I've tried redownloading/reinstalling the Technic Launcher multiple times, and always have the same problem.

P.S. - I'm not totally computer savvy.

I know this entry is a couple of months old, but I've had the same problem recently and figured out a consistent workaround. I would always get this LWJGL crash when using dual-monitors on my Mac. The fix was to use only a single display and everything works fine. In the case of a laptop, this includes an external display with the laptop shut.

Well if you know it is old why would you revive it? The guy is long gone.

Good question man, probably some blue sky crazy idea that more than two people might have the same problem and will now find a solution if they search for it. I guess I could have started a new thread with the solution.. *shrug*
