Technic Launcher Server Not Compatibale

Operating System: Windows 2010

Java Version: I'm not sure

Antivirus Program: Not sure either.

Description of Problem:

I want to make a server to play on with Tekkit, but I cannot figure out how to do so without editing my minecraft.jar. When I do what it says I should, it tells me the port could not bond. How do I make a server that me and my friends can play on. BTW, we use Hamachi, if thats any help.

Try downloading the server software...though if you can't figure that out, I would consider allowing someone else to host for you.

It doesn't edit your minecraft.jar or anything else. It makes its own separate folder structure and everything.
