another piece of info about this:

it did work but then i put a new texture pack on called purebdcraft with the added textures for this mod. i went on and changed the texture pack, my pc froze so i re-started it. then it logged in properly but after about 5 minutes on the mojang screen it crashed. i thought it was the texture pack, so i deleted it from the texture pack file. it didn't work. it is still crashing!

its only tekkit that crashes. technic and yogbox work...

Yeah, you need to wipe and reinstall Tekkit - you have a block ID conflict.

i have the same problem and i have tryed deleting the teknic launcher folder and it hasnt helped

Okay, I'm just going to lock this whole mess. People that still have issues, please post new bug reports in the correct section of the boards, in your own thread. Block ID issues like this are always fixed by a correct and complete reinstall of the mod pack in question. There are no exceptions to that rule, except 2 little issues right now, and this isn't one of them.
