Trying to move items, but instead theyre thrown on the ground

I'm really not sure if this is a bug with minecraft in general, a bug with my server hosting, or a bug with the tekkit pack. But every once in awhile when i click to move items in my inventory or in chests and such, itll just disappear and throw it on the ground instead for no reason. I have no idea whats causing it, and eventually it just randomly fixes itself and stops. Anyone seen this and know how to fix it?

If this is for tekkit(online mode) this is in the wrong section.

Also, No, this doesnt ring any bells with me, But it could be something to do with one of the inventorymods, or possible minecraft thinking one of your keys is stuck. Occasionally my shift key gets "stuck" in minecrafts mind, and i can only pick up full stacks. Just close your world and reopen it, or restart minecraft altogether, usually fixes my problem, and as it doesnt happen often, its not too big a deal.
