Tekkit stays on white screen

I was playing tekkit the other day just fine, then I downloaded the server for it. The server loads up just fine and a few of my friends were able to get on it with no problems at all. For me, it goes to the title screen for the texture pack (the PureBDcraft one), then it sits on this blinding white screen and does nothing else. I restarted my computer and the launcher a few times and it still does the same thing. I can still load Technic and the rest just fine, but it will not work anymore on Tekkit.

have you tried clearing your tekkit cache? open your launcher hit options hit clear cache
