Bad Video Card Drivers

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium, 2.60 GHz, 2G RAM

Java Version: JRE 1.7

Antivirus Program: Norton

Description of Problem:

I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium. After all the updates, I tried to play minecraft and it gave me a log about bad video drivers. I tried using the technic launcher and it gave me the same thing. So I tried doing what it said and updating the video driver and it still doesnt work, if someone has a solution please post it here on this thread.

thats the same with mine i did the same thing but it still says bad memory drivers i know how you feel :(

You can start by updating Java. Then I'd take a look at the LWJGL library (there's a selection button for that in launcher Options). See the Common Problems and Solutions thread for more info.

Ok so i fixed it by downloading a better free driver from windows http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Browse.aspx?type=Hardware&category=Graphics%20Cards%20%26%20Components&subcategory=Graphics%20Cards
