Launcher not starting correctly

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 32 bit

Java Version: Latest 32 bit, Java 7

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

When launched using the exe it will never get past the finding latest version stage, so I followed all instructions for trying to fix this problem. I changed the system variable to "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin", made sure I had the correct version of java, tried running the launcher using a batch file and looking for errors, and running it using the jar file, the jar is the only thing that made a difference as now it freezes on the banner. I've looked all across the forums and internet and have yet to find a solution that works. What I'm thinking the problem is by looking at other people with the same issues solution is that something is preventing the launcher from connecting to the internet but I have the firewall and UAC completely off and no antivirus program.

Go grab a new copy of the launcher. You shouldn't be getting a banner freeze unless something is stopping the launcher from running. Is 7u5 32-bit the only version of Java you have?
