Packs not launching

son_of_geek

Question

This appears to be a problem with all packs including the vanilla pack. Each time I try to launch a pack it just takes me back to the main load screen.

When opening the console to see what is wrong it comes up with:

"[B#301]  Error occurred during initialization of VM
[B#301]  Could not reserve enough space for 1048576KB object heap
[B#301]  Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=128m; support was removed in 8.0
 [B#301] Analytics Response [runModpack]: 200
[B#301] Starting download of http://cdn.technicpack.net/platform2/pack-icons/676777.png?1434671001, with 3 tries remaining"

and here is a link to the pastebin with the logs:

http://pastebin.com/zBFgYs7K

any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :D
