Cannot select the mods I want.

Description of Problem:

When I select both Tekkit or Technic I cannot select the mods I would like to use. The button is grayed out. It is on a fresh install after the 3.1.1 update of Tekkit.

The new ones don't use modloader. Just delete the mods you don't want.
