Minecraft.jar crashes on loading

Launcher Version: Technic

Operating System: Windows

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

When i hit the login button, it loads partway then freezes. It is not my antivirus software so PLEASE do NOT tell me to turn it off. It can load the vanilla version but not any of the other mods. Sometimes requests to update technic, but sometimes it does not. An easy explanation would be nice, withought a ton of jargon.

Hey, this guy is a mod and so he knows the shit. If these forums say that it is AVG, well then it is.

Have you tried adding some kind of exception to AVG for the launcher? Most AVs have that option. I don't use it, nor do I know anyone who does, so I can't help with the actual options side. And believe me, if I were trolling, you'd know it.

I had the same problem, I uninstalled AVG, and now I can play tekkit/technic seamlessly.
