Download Fail for downloading mods

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: latest

Antivirus Program: AVG also already tried deleting and turning it off.

Description of Problem:

Everytime i login and hit yes too updates it starts updating/downloading the mods but stop at random %'s and says download failed ive read over the forums and everything says its my AV but i already turned that off deleted it tryed using different ones and it still does the same problem the thing is it is random mods random %'s not always the same one ive tryed too just keep logging in to update but it doesnt get farther it seems.

I have the same problem. I'm new to Technic pack and so when i pull up the launcher choose the mod it'll go through a little then stop and go Update Failed. This is very fustrating. I have tried both ways of downloading it. Except for MAC i don't have that. Please help!

I've had this ever since i downloaded the launcher, never worked for me (only started trying to use tekkit when 1.3.1 minecraft came out) is it something to do with the mods not being updated to 1.3.1 yet or something? its really annoying cos i really wana play using the technic pack and i get the same problem where it stops on a random % when i try to update and it says download failed

Go get a new launcher, if you haven't recently.
