tekkit will not open

Description of Problem:

i click on tekkit icon twice but it does not open and i cant find out whats the probleam and i also puts this thing on my desktop saying "hs err pid3" and also what is "AdvancedOpenGL" thank you

Error Messages:

"hs err pid3"

Try to update or reinstall graphics card drivers.

I had the same problem and that fixed it.
