Mod Pack Requirements

Hey I know this may not be a problem with the actual mod pack but this happens when I try to play it. So I downloaded the pack because it looked fun but when I try to play it I get this notification or error whatever you may call it that does not let me play the game. It says that this mod pack requires 2 GB RAM and that I am only using 1 GB, I am using Java 1.8.0_60 32-bit, I am on windows 8.1 64-bit. So I tried trouble shooting myself and this is what I tried

• Re install Java
• Go to Technic launcher settings --> java settings and then change it to 2 Gb Ram instead of 1 GB (Note: There is a yellow exclamation mark nest to it)
• Tried to intall java 64-bit but it appears that its not Windows 8.1 compatible.

If anyone has any suggestions on what I should try to troubleshoot the problem please DO NOT be afraid to say something I am open to anything

64 bit java does work with windows 8.1, and you'll need it to enable more ram for the launcher so you can play Blightfall, and most other modpacks.

So does the link above fix my problem, or do I reserve more Ram from the launcher?

Step one is install 64 bit java 

Step two is to click the cogwheel on the top right of the launcher and you'll be able to give it more ram.

It doesn't let me put my RAM higher than 1 GB my pc runs on 8 GB of RAM plz help.

Did you install 64 bit java? If you have other versions in there, remove them.
