Technic launcher not coming on

Launcher Version: Technic 7.2

Operating System: Windows xp 32 bit

Java Version: java 7

Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials

Description of Problem:

When I click on the Technic launcher it says "Checking Launcher Version" and then nothing happens and it dosent load minecraft or anything like that

Get an error log. (It is located in %appdata%\.techniclauncher\logs and is named launcher_0.log [0 being the latest] and post it on pastebin.com)

I (and we) can't really help you if you don't specify an exact java version (press start, type "cmd", in the black window type "java -version")

or without a log.

P.S. the launcher version =/= technic pack version. (The launcher version is in the title of the window, top-left)

There won't be an error log if the launcher doesn't load. OP: You need to use the .jar version - the .exe version doesn't like 32-bit systems, for the most part.
